Details:
One of Young Dolph's greatest freestyles that had been recorded.Dolph and Key Glock were in the United Kingdom on this Tuesday. Tim Westwood, a UK DJ got to meet Dolph and Glock that day as he dropped these beats and watched Dolph go off on the mic. Line after line, bar after bar.
When Tim Westwood put it on youtube this became one of the greatest freestyles ever recorded. The FreeStyle also became known as the "Memphis Classic." Unfortunately this freestyle never was released to the public as Dolph's life was sadly cut short.
Project Information:
In this project I am using the creative commons license to express the right of using this audio with the film I produced.
I decided to post this documentary and project to ArtStation first because of the support, likes, and appreciation I have received from other ArtStation members. Thank you for your support.
This project will contain many images of a "work in progress." I have the complete video ready now and I will post here on ArtStation later tonight. I hope you all enjoy it! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out and I will respond with any further information.
Reason for Project:
I know a lot of people ask this "why Young Dolph?" Young Dolph is my favorite artist. I listened to Dolph's music going back on 10 years ago before he became one of the greatest rappers ever. Dolph started like most rappers. He had a passion for music as he started with making his own CDs. (mixed tape)
Dolph refused to sign with anyone as he turned down multi million dollar offers multiple times. He became the prime example of an independent artist. He never signed and made his own record label known as "Paper Route Empire." His first major hit came when he and Key Glock released "Dumb and Dumber 2."
After that his career as a rap artist began to skyrocket as he climbed the billboards at a fast pace.
Other Thoughts:
His music was the realist, everything he rapped he lived by. Every single word that he put on paper and sang through the mike, he never once lied or tried to be something he wasn't. I personally love the fact of Dolph's independence.
He knew his worth and would not settle until he felt it was okay by his standards. In life you have to know what your value is. It is key to achieving what is called the ultimate success.
His morals and self-driven motivation lead him to be in my opinion the greatest.
